Day 14

Well I’m now two weeks into the challenge, and surprisingly haven’t lost my Zeal ;)

What I have lost is ANOTHER 2 POUNDS! It’s not as much as the first week, but I just remind myself the slower it comes off, the more likely it is to stay off! An interesting side note here: I learned in my Nutrition class the body can build new fat cells, but it doesn’t lose them. They simply shrink. That’s why it’s easy to gain weight back once you’ve lost it. The cells simply uptake the fat storage again ;(

I’m not gonna lie, it’s been tough to get back into a workout routine.  I’m starting out small, doing at least 30 minutes on the elliptical 5 days a week.  I’d like to work up to an hour, and eventually start running on the treadmill (hopes of training for a 5K or even better a 10K).  I’m still trying to incorporate the strength training.  Not quite sure what’s holding me back, I actually prefer strength training over cardio.  Plus those dead lifts REALLY do work!

I completed my rapid cleanse this week.  The digestive system seems to be in primary condition ;)   I no longer feel bloated all the time, which was a problem I had before starting the challenge.

The Zeal Wellness has continued to provide surprising benefits.  I’m now able to sleep through the night, and feel rested in the morning.  No more struggling to get out of bed.  Don’t get me wrong, on those cold early mornings, the warm and cozy bed still calls, but it’s not because I’m exhausted!  I’ve also noticed I don’t bruise like I used to.  I would constantly have black and blue marks all over from bumping into things (Grace is NOT my middle name!), especially on my shins from pushing the glass racks in with my legs  (those of you who have served might know what I’m talking about when I say that).

I take the Zeal Wellness twice a day. The Wild Berry in the morning & the guarana free in the afternoon in order to get energized for that afternoon workout!

I’ve been doing some research on the ingredients in the Zeal Wellness that I’ve never heard of such as Inositol (IP6), tocotrienols & gamma oryzanol. The benefits of these are amazing! Keep an eye out for those articles as I get them put together, you’ll be amazed too!

The miracle of rice bran, and its healing power, is amazing. I have always taken the Zeal Wellness by mixing it with water, or apple or orange juice. The juice adds so many sugars to it, that I am considering mixing it with a tomato juice. Have you or anyone you know tried this?
